Current mood: indescribable

sometimes, asking the right question is the answer.

  1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
  2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
  3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
  4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
  5. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
  6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
  7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
  8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
  9. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
  10. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
  11. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?  What’s holding you back?
  12. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
  13. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
  14. What are you most grateful for?
  15. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
  16. Has your greatest fear ever come true?
  17. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset?  Does it really matter now?
  18. What is your happiest childhood memory?  What makes it so special?
  19. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?
  20. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?
  21. Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?
  22. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?
  23. What is the difference between being alive and truly living?
  24. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
  25. What do you love?  Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?
  26. In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday?  What about the day before that?  Or the day before that?
Post your answers here, and make sure to post it anonymously and honestly. (:

1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
17 years old, probably one of my best years.
2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
Failing.
3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
Because we are accountable to so many people, but never to ourselves.
4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
Yea.
5. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
I want people to be simpler beings.
6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
Definitely voluntary/social work :)
7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
In the midst of doing what i believe in.
8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
Don't know, haven't reach the peak age yet.
9. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
I guess doing things right.
10. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
Hmm, depends on who's the one who broke the law. But if it requires me to lie or the likes, maybe i would.
11. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What’s holding you back?
Speak from the bottom of my heart. There's too much consequences too think of.
12. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
All my regrets?
13. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
Maybe Kenya in Africa. To know just how fortunate i am.
14. What are you most grateful for?
My relatively smooth flowing life.
15. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
Never make new ones.
16. Has your greatest fear ever come true?
Hmm, no idea what my greatest fear is.
17. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?
No i don't remember.
18. What is your happiest childhood memory? What makes it so special?
Probably playing and living with no worries whatsoever. Because it is entirely impossible now.
19. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?
Sadly no.
20. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?
Yes, sure!
21. Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?
Definitely the latter.
22. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?
My best friends (assuming i will die at home with my family)
23. What is the difference between being alive and truly living?
Being alive, you are merely just repeating the act of breathing. But by truely living, you are breathing to do all the things that you want to do, and that mattered to you.
24. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
Be myself.
25. What do you love? Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?
Quite a few things. Hmm, not really =/
26. In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday? What about the day before that? Or the day before that?
No, most likely not. I have short term memory. haha

1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
I would be in my thirties, because I'm too mature for my age. (I even have a few grey hairs!)
2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
Never trying, because you'd regret it for the rest of your life.
3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
Because it's the only way we know.
4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
No. I don't speak my mind nearly enough.
5. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
People. I wish I could change the mindset of every single person, including myself, so there was no prejudice, there are no wars, there isn't hate and inequality.
6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
Writing. Oh, if only I wasn't constantly haggled by Writer's Block...
7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
It's hard to tell, because my wishes and wants change so quickly.
8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
I wouldn't, really. I'd be too scared.
9. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
I'm worried about doing the right things.
10. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
I think.
11. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What’s holding you back?
I want to lose weight. I want to be skinny and normal and not so lumpy. I want to be sort of, maybe beautiful.
I'm holding myself back.
12. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
Yeah... Love's a hard thing to set free.
13. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
Either Maine or Nova Scotia, because they both seem pretty (and cold).
14. What are you most grateful for?
Family and friends and really good food.
15. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
...Wow, I don't know.
16. Has your greatest fear ever come true?
Yes: losing my best friend, as well as my first sort-of-real first love.
17. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?
I know there were a lot of upsetting times in my past. And no, I guess it doesn't matter much anymore.
18. What is your happiest childhood memory? What makes it so special?
Going to New Hope, PA for Christmas trees, because it was and is a yearly tradition in our family.
19. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?
No, but I hope to.
20. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?
Well, I don't have a job.
But if I got a million dollars, I wouldn't worry so much about finding a job, and I'd just try to write a novel that'd sell.
21. Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?
The latter.
22. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?
Too many people to list.
23. What is the difference between being alive and truly living?
You're alive if you're breathing, but truly living means taking chances, and giving away your love.
24. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
I would totally be more flamboyant with my sexuality. (;
25. What do you love? Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?
I love too many things, and I read a lot, so I guess that's expressing my love for reading?
26. In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday? What about the day before that? Or the day before that?
No, because I have horrible memory. But I will remember feeling good, or wanting to cry my eyes out, or seeming to float on air.
